Thousands of Ugandans celebrated their first trip to an African Nations Cup for 38 years. The excited citizens celebrated the historic feat in different ways as seen in the pictures below.


Uganda defeated Comoros 1-0 to qualify for their first African Nations Cup in 38 years on Sunday. Farouk Miya scored the game's only goal at a packed Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala thanks to an assist from Moses Oloya on 35 minutes. The historic result leaves Milutin Sredojevic's side with 13 points, giving them second place in Group D.
